Unveiling the Dragon Flag
Join us on April 13 for the unveiling of a unique Dragon Flag from the Union Pacific collection. This ceremonial flag, heavily embroidered with pink silk and gold thread is rarely brought out into the public eye due to its size, 14 feet long, and its fragility. Explore this rare object alongside members from the Nebraska Chinese Association, the museum curator and Rebecca Cashman, objects conservator from the Ford Conservation Center.
The public Q & A will begin at 2 p.m. - admission is free
