July 11 & 12: Railroad Days 2015
Railroad Days is an annual celebration of all things train and track! For just $15, two adults and all their children receive admission to and transportation between five different area museums.
Using advanced technology and innovations, Union Pacific employees monitor the safety of railroad equipment as it travels over 36,000 miles of track. At this year's Railroad Days festival, visitors to the Union Pacific Railroad Museum will get to experience what it's like to work at UP's Mechanical Derailment Prevention Desk. UP engineers will be available to give visitors a hands-on experience with the railroad's high-tech wayside detectors.
